Measure Your Body
Before You Start
- Place two fingers between the measuring tape and the body part for a comfortable measurement.
- Stand in a relaxed posture while the measurements are taken.
- We add appropriate margins to the body measurements you provide.
- All measurements should be taken in inches.
-
Place the measuring tape around the neck and measure at the Adam’s apple.
-
Take the measuring tape and measure the chest around the widest part, with the arms relaxed in a hanging position.
-
Take the measuring tape and measure around the widest part of the belly. Stand in a normal posture and do not suck the belly in or push it out.
-
Measure around the widest part of the hips for a comfortable shirt measurement.
-
Measure the bicep around the widest part, keeping the arm in a normal hanging posture.
-
Measure around the wrist bone.
-
Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder bone to the outer edge of the other.
-
Place the measuring tape at the top of the centre back and run it along the shoulder, then down to a little over the wrist bone.
-
Measure from the top of the shoulder (near the base of the neck) and run the tape straight down to the point where you want your shirt to end.
If you would rather skip the tape measure, FitSure will size you from a few quick questions instead. Every custom shirt is backed by a 60-day free remake.
